Lamar University is offering a fully online Bachelor’s degree completion program that provides an accelerated pathway for career advancement at a preferred tuition rate of $450 per course. The Bachelor of Applied Arts and Sciences (BAAS) degree program is one of the fastest growing degree programs in the country. The program is ideal for students who want to advance their two-year degrees and who want the opportunity to earn experiential credit for military or work experience. The BAAS program caters to individuals who have earned previous college credit or have been out of high school for five years and desire to reach the finish line.
Courses, available in 8-week and/or 15-week formats with multiple start dates, provide you with the flexibility to balance your professional and personal goals.

Applicants for the BAAS program through Lamar University Academic Partnerships must meet the university's standard requirements for admission and one of the following criteria:
- Have earned previous college credit hours with a cumulative grade point average of at least 2.0 on a 4.0 scale for all previous work completed in higher education OR
- Be a high school graduate of at least 5 years OR
- Be an active or retired service member with 3 or more years of military service.
Applicants are responsible for assembling and submitting the official documents that will verify the above criteria are met, including sealed transcripts from all previous colleges and/or universities attended.
Note to active or retired military personnel: Credit may be granted for military experience. Credit will be evaluated based upon the evaluation recommendations outlined in the American Council on Education (ACE) Guide to the Evaluation of Educational Experiences in the Armed Services manual. Applicants must submit one of the following documents: Form DD214 or Form DD256.
