There is nothing harder than working full time, raising a family, and going to school full time. But this has been my life since 2006. After deciding to return to school in 2006, I found out that I was pregnant with my first child, Elizabeth. My friends used to ask me after she was born, how was I able to work, go to school, and have a family, and my answer was simple: DETERMINATION. Where there is a will, there is a way.
I wanted a better life and I was tired of the dead end jobs in which I was going nowhere and barely making ends meet. I wanted a better life for myself and for my child, which soon became children. While still attending school, working, and having my daughter, I became pregnant with my second child, Hunter. I remember I was being induced on the last day of my finals, and it was icy and snowing.
By the time I finished my associate degree, I worked full time for a school district as a traveling aid for behavioral support, was raising two children, and attending school full time. I was set on completing my teaching degree and beginning my career as a teacher. I began my teaching career in 2011, and I have loved every minute since.
Now, six years later I am working on my master’s degree and creating a new path in this life of mine. Determination is the key to everything. Remember where there is a will, there is a way! See your goal and make it happen! Excuses get you nowhere, and there are more than enough excuses; therefore, if you truly want it, then stop making excuses and begin to make things happen in your life.
Have Fun, but Be Safe
June 5, 2017
It is finally summer time, and the question we ask ourselves the most is how should we spend it. Some of us, such as myself, will be taking classes. Others will be traveling somewhere sometime during this summer break.

It is official: We are one month away from summer! How will everyone spend their summer? Personally, I will be going to Vegas in June and Florida in July, while also attending two classes over the summer in my online program.
