What a wonderful, relaxing time. While on vacation, I’ve had some time to focus on me. I’ve gotten to sleep longer and even read some books. My favorite part has been the small, everyday things — hide-n-seek with my children, evening chats with my husband, baking, and tending my garden. At first, I felt like I had forgotten what to do with all the extra time, but it did not take that long to remember what makes me happy. I am so excited for my final semester and working one on one with the school’s counselor. There is so much to learn, and there will come so many opportunities to apply my learning.

Reset. That’s what I needed. My husband surprised me with a second honeymoon. Excitement followed by panic.

“True! — nervous — very, very dreadfully nervous I had been and am; but why will you say that I am mad?”
Not Giving Up

It gets better. My first classes were in the summer when I was “off as a teacher.”
My Spirit Went from Worn to Wonderful.
