With instruction from experienced superintendents, you will develop a professional portfolio and gain hands-on experience in district-level administration roles. Each course includes field-based experiences, problem based learning and action research, and instruction is based on best practices in online education.
*Price includes distance learning fee. On December 27, 2016, new requirements regarding educator preparation programs were approved and published in the Texas Administrative Code (TAC). New language regarding field observations were included in the new TAC. Specifically, Title 19 part 7 Chapter 228 RULE 228.35 requires educator preparation programs to now conduct at least one of the field observations on-campus face-to-face for principal, superintendent, and school counselor certification. Beginning spring 2017, a fee of $500.00 will be included in the total tuition for those students enrolled in programs impacted by the new TAC changes.
