"Appreciation for Dr. Douglas’ teaching of NURS 4620 Nursing Practice: Compromised Multiple Health States"

"When I decided to go back to school after 21 years of nursing, I really had no clue of where I could get my degree that offered an online program. I looked at multiple programs over several months, and decided to attend Lamar for two reasons. Financially, Lamar was one of the most reasonable schools, but the most important reason was the level of instruction that is provided. I wanted to take a moment and thank Dr. Mark Douglas for the great job that he did teaching NURS 4620 Nursing Practice: Compromised Multiple Health States. I have thoroughly enjoyed this course along with every other course that I have taken for my BSN degree."

"Dr. Douglas, you were my instructor for the first nursing course at Lamar and you did a phenomenal teaching job in that course as well. I could tell early on that I had made the right decision because I noticed that you really cared about each student and wanted them to be successful."

"As I am about to begin my last nursing course at Lamar, the level of caring and expertise has made my decision on where to get my MSN degree much easier. Again, thank you for what you do on a daily basis!"

–Charles Kinard, RN to BSN student at Lamar University
