Hayley Rodriguez

My name is Hayley Rodriguez and I am a recent graduate from Lamar University’s fall class of 2015 with a degree in Interdisciplinary Studies. I am currently working as a Kindergarten teacher at Robert E. Lee Elementary — the same school I learned from and where I fell in love with education at such a young age. I am very nervous, but more excited to be starting the online master’s program in Teacher Leadership that Lamar provides. Since first showing my interest in the program, I have received so much support. The support received has been some simple courtesy phone calls and emails concerning my questions or just friendly reminders about payment due dates, financial aid, and class start dates. My excitement outshines my nervousness of starting my master’s with a full-time job because of the constant support I have already received prior to my first course start date.
