It’s July!

It’s July! Yea! We just celebrated 4th of July and are planning a mini vacation close to home. Summer is a great time to jump ahead on assignments. This month I would like to remind you how to manage time with classes, as well as other things that need to be done for your program. Remembering the Practicum Plan and the Research Action Plan during off months is key to success. Each week I have set aside a few hours to work on these two things. It does not always work but has seemed to be helpful as I work toward the home stretch of the program.

I am an early riser, while my husband works swing shifts and his schedule is not as clear cut. This summer I have tried to get up a little early and spend some morning time working through some need-to-do items. I am not perfect at this but it has helped with getting some of the things done. AND it is quiet here and I can focus on what needs to be done. Believe me, I would much rather be lying in bed and relaxing, but this is a time that is necessary and important to me so I must continue to focus on the goal! So when you have an off week or even summer away from school, make a plan to use some extra time to knock some of this work out of the park! HAPPY SUMMER!
