Tuition Guarantee:
Students admitted to a cohort are guaranteed the tuition price in place at the start
of their program under the following conditions:
Continuous enrollment is required to guarantee any tuition rate and/or grants that you receive at the beginning of your program. A break in enrollment will result in the student being readmitted to the program at the tuition price in place at the time of readmission. Students must also complete the program during the time period prescribed by the degree program. Students who take courses beyond the designed program length will be subject to tuition price increases.
The bachelor's and master's degrees require a one-time, non-refundable application fee of $25. The application fee can be added to the payment of the first course. All bachelor's, master's and certificate courses are subject to a $15 per credit hour fee.
All Masters and Preparation Programs excluding Teacher Leadership require a one-time, non-refundable E-Portfolio assessment of approximately $100.
For bordering states:
Beginning in Fall 2011, students who live in states bordering Texas (Louisiana, Arkansas, Oklahoma and New Mexico) are eligible for a tuition rate of current resident tuition (in state) plus $30 per semester credit hour. For questions concerning residency status, please email LUAcademicPartnershipAdmissions@lamar.edu.
Peace Officer Exemption:

eligible for a tuition exemption for Criminal Justice courses beginning in Fall
2011. Students wishing more information on this exemption should contact the financial
aid office at 409-880-8450 or email Jill Rowley at
