Career Highlights:

I worked in distribution for five years after my MBA and then decided to go for my Ph.D. I completed my Ph.D. in 2010 and joined Lamar University. I won the University Merit award in 2015.

    I love teaching. I enjoy sharing what I know and I find I learn as much from listening to my students. There is nothing else I would rather do for a living.

  • What's the best advice that you have ever received?

    Enjoy the journey. Focusing on the destination will give you four, maybe five occasions to celebrate. Focusing on the journey will make your entire life a big celebration.

  • What's the best advice that you could give your students?

    Hang in there! In the long run, perseverance will always beat smarts!

    I love traveling! So far I have set foot on four continents and touched the waters of three oceans!
