    I teach all online courses.

  • What do students in these courses learn?

    Students acquire the knowledge and skills needed to be competent professional counselors. Students also develop the dispositions and multicultural competencies needed to provide effective advocacy and counseling services.

  • Why did you start teaching?

    I decided to pursue a career in counselor education to make a positive impact on our profession and future professional counselors. My intent is always to impact the whole student, not just their academic pursuits. My students are challenged and supported to actualize their professional and personal goals.

  • What advice would you give those considering these online programs?

    My advice to potential candidates is to carefully consider your reason for pursuing a degree in professional counseling. Contact our faculty or admissions coordinator should you need additional information to make a more informed decision. Know that when you begin an academic program in our department, you will receive quality, innovative instruction while being supported by faculty who are all extremely accomplished in their respective areas.
