Undergraduate Application Instructions - Lamar University Online Program

  1. To begin your application, visit https://goapplytexas.org/
    • Please record this information so that you can easily save and access your application. Once you have completed the application, you will be given an application ID number that you must save as this will be the reference to all your application materials.
  2. Complete profile pages
    • Please note fields with an asterisk are required. The page will prompt you to complete all required fields:
      • Name
      • Background
      • Citizenship
      • Permanent Address
      • Physical Address
      • Phone Numbers
      • Emergency Contact
      • High School/Secondary School
      • College History
      • Texas Residency
  3. Once completed, click “Start/Edit Application”
  4. Click “Start a New Application”
  5. Click “Four-year college/university”
  6. Choose “Lamar University” as your institution
  7. Select “Application Type”
  8. Select your semester
  9. Select your program from “Undergraduate—Online Only,” this is the first section in the drop down
