I have authored or co-authored 77 refereed papers in my field, 46 refereed papers in academic proceedings and contributed to 10 book chapters. I served as Chair of the Department of Management and Marketing for 11 years. I was associated with the Small Business Development Center of the University of Houston at Lamar University for 20 years serving several thousand clients and small business startups over that period.

    I taught classes while in my doctoral program and it made me happy.

    You can't learn without hard work anymore than I can improve my physique without physical effort. Many students have the misconception that an education can be obtained without sacrifice.

    Proverbs.

    Stamina and resilience.

  • What do you think is the biggest challenge that people in the profession face today?

    Disruption.

  • Tell us something your students may not know about you.

    I was a curriculum consultant to Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) and traveled to West Africa twice each year for workshops, train-the-trainer activities and consulting. I served NNPC for about 10 years. Also, I was designated an honorary Igbo Chief.
