Career Highlights:

As a newspaper journalist for the Beaumont Enterprise, my most memorable assignments included covering a session of the U.S. Supreme Court, Hurricane Rita and nighttime airboat rides into Southeast Texas marshes with alligator researchers.

Working in Lamar University's Public Relations Department, I launched the university’s first official Facebook page and Twitter account.

    Don't be afraid to ask for help when you need it.

  • Tell us something your students may not know about you:

    I practice and teach yoga. I'm involved in community theater, usually behind the scenes, but I've been in staged readings. I love to travel.
